Is WPFaker Lite really free?

Yes. WPFaker Lite is free, open source, and available on WordPress.org. No account, no API key, no trial period.

What's the difference between Lite and Premium?

WPFaker Lite has limits on posts per run (10) and custom post types (5), and doesn't include taxonomy/user/comment generation, AI content, or advanced template editing. See the full comparison.

Can I use WPFaker Lite on client projects?

Yes. Use it on as many sites as you want — development, staging, or local environments.

Usage

Why does Hive only detect some of my post types?

WPFaker Lite supports up to 5 custom post types. If you have more, consider upgrading to Premium.

Can I run the generator multiple times?

Yes. There's no limit on how many times you run the generator. The 10-post limit applies per individual run, not total.

Will WPFaker modify my existing content?

No. WPFaker only creates new posts. Your existing content is never modified or deleted. The bulk delete function only removes posts that WPFaker created.

Does it work with multisite?

WPFaker Lite works on individual sites within a multisite network. Install and activate it per-site.

Troubleshooting

Fields aren't being detected

Make sure your custom field plugin is active and has field groups assigned to the post type you're generating for. Hive reads the live configuration — draft or inactive field groups won't be detected.

Generated images are broken

WPFaker Lite uses LoremFlickr for images, which requires an internet connection. Check that your server can reach external URLs.

I get a "WPfaker Lite cannot run alongside WPfaker Premium" notice

You can only have one version active at a time. Deactivate WPFaker Premium before activating Lite, or vice versa.
